WEST OF JAVA depicts an enveloping Eden of lush nature. A setting of rare refinement that gives interiors a sumptuous effect. The richness and polychromy of the design is the result of both the European textile tradition of papiers peints and the savvy use of digital printing technology. This design revamps the ancient method of trompe l'oeil with a contemporary technical and stylistic twist. Tempera, stamps, airbrush and stencil are some of the techniques used for the realization of this artwork on a large scale.

A tribute to nature. IRISH PONDS is a story inspired by en plein air in a snowy white Nordic setting. An unspoiled landscape with the first signs of early spring, a slow awakening punctuated by the beat of a mute nature, hushed and nearly suspended in a dreamy atmosphere. It features a unique pictorial technique which lends a peculiar glare to white, later rendered in two variations when the design is digitized.

RISING DESERT is the first abstract subject in The Grand Design collection. SARASVATI, the Goddess of heavenly waters, is the inspiration behind this theme in The Grand Design collection. An Arcadian and imaginative place between sky and water, this design is linked to the themes and suggestions of the “A Gong on the River” fabric collection. Almost a terrestrial transposition of the Milky Way, SARASVATI portrays heavenly plants, birds, and flowers that flow in a 20-meter-long fabric composition. In the eyes of the beholder, this pan-optic becomes a suspended place for musing and getting reacquainted with one's inner time. A magical realism obtained by skillfully combining pictorial and digital art, and capable of instilling new awareness of time and oneself.

Illustration and music

Flames, waves, clouds and plumage mark the visual score of this subject that captures the evocative traits of early 20th Century theatrical sets. A tribute to paintings used as backdrops in Diaghilev's Ballets Russes shows. Illustration, music and gestures convey more than the spoken word, and create worlds of great evocative power. It is no coincidence that the name of this Grand Design is a tribute to lgor Stravinsky, but in the different color variations - Gold, Silver and Gouache - the circus atmosphere as seen through the eyes of Picasso and Seurat also comes to light. The research for L'OISEAU DE FEU comes to life also in the print on panama cotton fabric, which enhances the flavor of a hand-painted canvas by reproducing a screening similar to jute. 20 meters of wonder and amazement.
